am i reading this wrong? this is a fake post, right?

i doubt reporters are upset about the actual coffee itself. it’s what it represents.. “no one has really paid much attention to all the other things cut from our budget, sadly now that they have attacked our coffee, the public will take notice.”

i’d bet many newspaper staff are quite grateful for having a job.

If only taking away free coffee were the worst thing to happen to newspaper employees: layoffs, furloughs, benefit cuts, same work with half the staff, etc.

my friend gets a bonus dependent on how much overtime the knuckleheads under him DO NOT use. His job is to crack the whip and ensure that everyone gets their tasks done without a drop of overtime spilt.
