It has always puzzled me that the people who ascribe the most insanely vindictive qualities to their god do so approvingly.

Yeah, you have to be a special brand of deranged to make a comment like that. It doesn't even make sense, which goes hand-in-hand with being a Christian. What about the women who never had abortions but gave birth to a disabled child? What was their sin?
Again, being a Christian means never having to say you're sorry, and never having to make sense.
Not to mention that a lot of women have abortions, but but not many have disabled children. Why the discrepancy?
All part of god's great plan. Now stop thinking - it makes jesus cry.
It's like God is a projection of all of one's petty, spiteful, vindictive and unresolved bullshit.
My God strikes dead they who neglect the turn signal. But mostly he just masturbates to free porn then feels guilty about it.
I was born without fully-formed hip joints and my father's aunt and sisters told him it was God's punishment for quitting his job as a preacher in the Nazarene church.
Fortunately the doctor in Eugene knew how to fix it. So I guess the infant frog brace I was in for a few months was more powerful than God's wrath.
